The two “SunCarriers” were installed by a+f GmbH, a GILDEMEISTER group company. The “SunCarrier 250” is a single-axis tracking system that keeps its 248 m² module surface over the vertical axis and directed according to the current position of the sun, so generating a 30% energy surplus. The “SunCarrier 250” installed at Bielefeld can supply up to 24 four-person homes* with renewable energy, thanks to its intelligent and environmentally friendly energy generation technology. The power generated by the “SunCarrier” can be independently and flexibly used round the clock, using its “cellcube FB 10-100” energy storage, a vanadium redox flow battery produced by Cellstrom GmbH. Antiloop was responsible for the EnergyPark's visualisation and developed an iPhone and iPad application as well as an online version. The data is requested live from EnergyPark, and presented to the user in an understandable format.
