Liechtenstein Banking Financial Market Authority FMA Reporting Platform
This reporting platform allows the Liechtenstein FMA to create, manage and evaluate the statutory reports of the different individual banks. These reports can be added to the system periodically. However special reports, which are required from the bank only once are also possible, or reports triggered by particular events or conditions, which can be uploaded by the bank without a defined template.
The reports are visible to each selected bank on the defined reporting date, and can then be uploaded by these banks. This data (for XML reports) is read by the system and transferred to the database, and can then be viewed by the FMA and verified using the system. A monitor allows the FMA to keep track of outstanding and submitted reports. Providing the financial intermediaries with a secure and encrypted solution was a high priority.
The system entered service in mid 2009 to great success and replaced the existing platform.
