Pick & Pack Commissioning in the hardware store

The customer's requirement
Task Definition
The hardware store chain Jumbo is one of the leading Swiss DIY and garden markets. To digitalize the end customer's picking process, a Pick & Pack application should be developed. A special requirement was the integration of the Datalogic Memor 20 scanner. Additionally, the application should be implemented for both iOS and Android devices.

The use of Ionic
Technology choice
The customer chose the Ionic framework as the technology for this project. Ionic is considered a hybrid technology and allows the development of apps for native platforms using web technology like Angular. In addition to the implementation of the external scanner for the Datalogic Memor 20 device, a barcode scanning framework is integrated. Thanks to this integration, the application can be rolled out on employees' devices under the "Bring Your Own Device" concept.

The role of Antiloop
Activities
Antiloop developed a Pick & Pack app and was responsible for the technical conception and programming. The project was managed in close collaboration with the agency and the end customer through an agile project process using Kanban. In this process, Antiloop also took over parts of the project management.
