ALGE-TIMING is a manufacturer of electronic timing devices for sports races and training, and develops and manufactures a wide range of devices in this area. Additionally, they specialize in customized solutions that often combine existing devices. Their global network of independent sales representatives uses our sales platform to market, sell, and order the devices.

Challenge
Finding the right UX and data strategy
For the sales representatives, the order processing in the previous platform was unsatisfactory. Due to the many possible product combinations, placing an order was a challenge and often required manual intervention after the order was placed. Another issue was the lack of a UX concept, which made it difficult for the dealers to use the platform for marketing and ordering purposes.

Solution
Mobile first and defined data structures
Together with the client, Antiloop reviewed the product pool and defined an appropriate data structure. Additionally, interviews were conducted with the sales representatives to identify the pain points that needed to be addressed. The results of this process were used to develop an ideal UX for all users of the platform.

The resulting B2B shop offers several functions. It serves as a product showcase to generate leads and carry out marketing activities. For sales representatives, it acts as a sales catalog to present products and solutions to customers. Naturally, it is also easy to directly order the products in the same step. Additionally, the central office can handle fulfillment without further manual interventions or adjustments.
